Our Range

Our ever expanding range of firm favourites and new recipes continues to surprise and delight our regular customers, and we are pleased to be able to release our current list here. We are always ready to consider special requests for a sufficiently large order, and further details may be found in the menu to your left.

Ruddy Fox 4.9% vol. An experamental red ale with smooth biscuity notes and just a hint of toffee.
Taid’s Garden 4.2% vol. A wonderfully clean & refreshing beer. Named after my grandfather’s garden, because of the great hop aroma & hop finish.
Taffy’s Tipple 4.5% vol. A traditional strong brown ale, full bodied, rich & smooth.
Y Ddraig Goch 4.5% vol. An incredibly full bodied ale. Smooth & dark, with a long smooth finish.
Dark Lager 5.5. vol A German style dark lager, with a malt and dark chocolate aroma & flavour.
Cwrw Carrog 4% vol. A beer full of character, mouth filling with an intense hop finish. Specially made for the Grouse Inn at Carrog.
Druid’s Ale 4% vol. A golden bitter, with a nice malty flavour & a dry nutty finish. Brewed specially for ‘The Druid Inn’, Pontblydden, near Mold., North Wales.
Lucinda’s Lager 4.5% vol. A beautiful light, blonde lager, with citrus notes, & a light hoppy finish.
Dynes Dywyll 5% vol. A potent, complex dark ale.
Betton Bitter 4% vol. A light and aromatic bitter made specially for the Betton Grange Railway Society in Llangollen.
Festival Ale 4% vol. An amber coloured ale ,with a long bitter finish.
Suzanne’s Stout 4 % vol. A stout with a rich balance of malt and hops.
Matthew’s Wallop 4% vol. A carefully hopped mild ale, with a floral finish. ‘Wallop’ is old London slang for a mild ale, and the recipe recalls a pleasant Summer’s night in Covent Garden long ago...
Porter (Penelope’s Secret) 4.5% vol. A very special, full bodied porter.
Cwrw Du 4.2 % vol. A mysterious, dark ale. It is simply Indescribable and really requires sampling to understand.

The beers are all hand made and bottle conditioned. They are not mass produced, therefore the percentage vol (alcoholic volume) of each beer, will vary from time to time because each mash is different.
